Charged Twice

I was charged twice; once when I downloaded the software, and a second time when I had to file and was forced to pay up again.  What gives???

For some reason you accessed the TurboTax online editions and did not install the software you purchased on your computer.  Since you have already paid the TurboTax online account fees and filed the tax return there is no longer a need for the 2022 desktop software you purchased.

 

If you purchased the software from a retailer take it back and see if they will give you a refund.

If you purchased the software from TurboTax then request a refund using this procedure -
