Divorce changing my taxes?

If you were divorced before the end of 2022 then your filing status is now Single, or maybe Head of Household if you are the custodial parent of the children. If you are using online TurboTax, start a new account with a different user ID so that you do not end up with a bunch of errors from using an old account that was used for past joint returns. It is too hard and messy to get all of the "spouse stuff" out of an account or a tax file that transfers over from a past year.
