Change preference

When I get to receive updates on Tax return the mobile number is not correct and I can’t see anywhere to update it. I can only see it under the "Preference Tab" but no option to update it. Not to be confused with the personal info tab where that number shows correct but not at the end when it is pulling info from intuit. But I can’t get it to update. Has my old address and old number. But cannot change.

You can change it on your Intuit account.  But the number under personal information is the one that will go with the tax return.

Go out of the tax return and back to the log in screen where you first logged in to TurboTax.  There should be a tab there with "My Account" on it.  Click on that and you can change your personal information.
