Can you claim the expenses of a paid CDL training program that is provided by a trucking company?

No - you were reimbursed for the expense by the trucking company.

If you meant you paid for the training and were not reimbursed

    1) if you are a W-2 employee, then no, it can;t be deducted

    2) if you are self-employed, you can deduct it as a business expense.

even if self-employed and paid the fee you cannot deduct the expense to inyially qualify for the CDL. this would have to be additional training after you obtained it.
