Cant file taxes

Hi, i tried to file my taxes but i could not. It said that a duplicate social security number was used already. But prior to me filing my taxes i filed a Non-Filer to get stimulus check. Can this be a case of why i cant file my taxes this year, because i file for the stimulus check? I need answers

if you are a taxpayer and file a tax return, it says right on the IRS page, for non-filers only
