Cannot enter number n column g on form 8949

I transferred stock from one brokerage to another in 2018.  My new brokerage does not have that cost basis. How do I enter a cost basis on Form 8949?  It will not allow me to enter a value and if I try Override the box turns yellow, the number its in red and column h is not calculating with the new basis.

You need to enter the investment sales using the step by step mode in TurboTax. You will find the investment sales section in the Wages and Income area, then Investment Income, then Stocks, Cryptocurrency, Mutual Funds, Bonds, other.

I neglected to mention that the original data was on a 1099-B from my brokerage.  I found I could add the adjusted basis on the Capital Assets Sales Worksheet and not directly on the Form 8949.  It is important to enter a negative number for the adjustment if the costs basis are understated on the 1099-B from the brokerage.
