I followed the instructions to import my 1099s from Wealthfront in TurboTax Home & Business 2024 on macOS. I I never had any problems doing that in the previous years.
This year, when I try connecting to Wealthfront using the proper email address and app-specific password, there is a modal window in TurboTax with the message "Establishing secure connection..." for a few seconds, then it stops with a "ding!" sound. Then nothing. It just stays on the "Sign on to Wealthfront" page. It's impossible to make progress.
I tried many times restarting the app, creating a new app-specific password, etc. but nothing fixes this.
The connection log on the Wealthfront website shows that TurboTax is connecting and authenticating correctly.
So this is likely a bug in TurboTax.
I called Intuit support, who just didn't care and told me to enter all the information (all stock transactions from Wealthfront!) by hand, which is completely unrealistic.
Is there a way around this?
Can Intuit please fix this bug in TurboTax?
FWIW, I'm running macOS Sequoia 15.3.2.

There was an update last night. Be sure to update your software and try again.
If you are using TurboTax Online, try importing using a different browser. Make sure any VPN or Anvi-Virus is turned off.

Hi, thanks for the reply.
However, as I clearly indicated in my original post, I am using the Mac desktop software.

Yes, Wealthfront Support also told me about this update.
I updated TurboTax today, and import from Wealthfront works fine now!
Thanks!
