My parent has lived with us for 10 months she has severe Alzheimer's Dementia and can't be left alone. Her savings pays for in home care wen we are at work. This cost is about $33,000 per year. She receives Social Security $1350 per month and an additional $2700 per year in other income. The only living expense she pays us is for food. Can we claim her as a dependent?
