Can TurboTax be used to file when one of the dependants have an approved ITIN number? The primary has social security number

During filing for dependant box where it says put in social, in case we put in ITIN will the return go forward?

what the iRS says (as long as it has not expired)

When you file your federal tax return, you will enter your ITIN in the same space where the form asks for a Social Security number. if valid you can efile.
