Can't get rid of Form 3514 for EIC

I deleted Form 3514 for CA EITC, but it recalculates and comes back up. How do I get rid of the form?

Can't get rid of Form 3514 for EIC

The 3514 is for young child credit and/or EIC. If you qualify, the form will not go away. If the program wants more information, the form will stay.  You may have more information to enter to satisfy the program that you do or do not qualify.

  1. Go through the CA return to Take a look at CA credits and taxes.
  2. Scroll down to Personal, home and family credits
  3. Select the CA Young Child Tax Credit and/or CA EIC
  4. Start
  5. Proceed through

Can't get rid of Form 3514 for EIC

I am having the same problem with Form 3514. It won't go away even though the Easy Step tells me that I am not eligible for EITC. I know I am not eligible. How do I get this form off of my tax return? What is the point of filling in information that has no reason to be there?

Can't get rid of Form 3514 for EIC

Click this link for steps on How to View and Delete Forms in TurboTax Online.

Form 3514 will be shown under California forms.

If you're using TurboTax Online, try closing the program, clear your Cache and Cookies and see if the issue resolves.

Since we can't see your return in this forum, another option is to Delete Your State Return and go through the state interview again.
