Can't finish my 1099-MISC 'Worksheet'

I have added my income from 1099 work, the type of work, and said I have no expenses.  In the review phase it keeps failing saying that I need to attach a link to a schedule C or otherwise.  I don't have expenses, and I see no option to attach any worksheet.  What gives?

Can't finish my 1099-MISC 'Worksheet'

It sounds like you may have not actually completed the business profile interview questions.  When you enter a ''type a work'' when entering a 1099-MISC, you have to go to another section and answer some questions.  These questions are the worksheet TurboTax is asking you about.   Try going to 'Federal Taxes'' and then ''Wages and Income''.

The first items listed are W-2 income, followed by your various ''types of work''.  You may see ''Needs Review'' next to the type of work needing the Schedule C worksheet.  Click on 'Edit' next to your type of work, and it will show your business profile, income and expenses related to the work.  Make sure the business profile is complete and you see the 1099 income reported linked to this 'type of work'.

If you see duplicate types of work, delete the ones not linked to your 1099 income.
