Can’t file 2024 amendment, TT error

I keep getting the following error in TurboTax online when trying to e-file a 2024 amendment and I see others online have gotten this as well. Why is this happening?

The Intuit Electronic Filing Center is closed for the 2024 Personal Income Tax filing season. November 15, 2025 was the last day to file returns electronically.

File it by mail. Print it, sign and date it in ink, and mail it in.

Use a mailing service like certified mail to track so you will know it was received since you will have a long wait.

Do not expect quick results from amending. It can take four months or more for the IRS to process an amended return.
