Can past returns completed on a desktop be retrieved?

Our computer crashed last summer, and we lost our past returns. Is there any way these can be retrieved?

There is not a way through TurboTax that you can retrieve past year returns from a desktop computer. You can attempt it with a computer specialist in your area.

You can get a Transcript of your return from the IRS if you do not have a printed copy.

I am using TurboTax 2025 desktop version. When I try to e-file my return, the program freezes and will not complete the transmission stage. (I've already re-installed it)
