Can intuit import my data from online sales platforms like ebay and etsy? or do I have to work it out myself and enter the data?

Online sales platforms like eBay and Etsy use form 1099-K. TurboTax does not import form 1099-K as of yet, so you will have to manually enter the information.

It depends.  When you consider your Etsy and Ebay sales as a real business, you can deduct expenses.  If it's a hobby, it's "other income" and you can't deduct any expenses or take any losses on your tax return.  If you're not sure, then you probably have a hobby rather than an actual business.
