Can I use TurboTax to file both for my wife and I, who are married filing joint account and to file a single account for my son, who is 27 years old and independent?

Yes, the CD/Download versions of TurboTax allow more than one tax return to be created with the same software.  Also, up to 5 federal e-files are included, but state software and e-files are additional. 

For TurboTax online, a separate account is needed to file each return, therefore you may end up paying for the software more than once, depending upon which schedules, if any, are required to be filed with the return.
