Can i use my last check stub to file my taxes?

Wait for the W2 to come.  The W2 usually doesn't match your last paystub.  There are many pre-tax deductions that can affect it.

And there's no hurry.  Turbo Tax wont start taking efiles until early January.  But they will just hold them all until the IRS opens Efiling later.

Well, of course you can.  You can do all kinds of foolish things if you wish.

Should you?  Probably not.  The W-2 can have relevant information that's not on a final paycheck, information that can affect your income tax return.  Besides, the IRS isn't going to accept income tax returns until late January and you'll most likely have your W-2 before that.

If you do not get your W-2 the IRS allows you to use your paycheck but you must follow the IRS rules and call them first after February 28, 2018.   If the IRS is not successful in obtaining the W-2, then they will allow you to use a paystub.
