Can I take a picture

I think you're gonna have to be a little more descriptive of "what" you want to take a picture of.  I don't think you can provide "a picture" of anything that has to be input to the IRS.  However, if you want to take pictures of the completed forms of your return I guess that's up to you.  But wouldn't you have to go to a lot of trouble to recreate that document or any part of it for future reference, or worse yet, for resubmittal to a taxing authority if all you had were pictures?

Could you please clarify what you are trying to take a picture of? Are you trying to snapshot your W2?

To Snap a photo of W-2. Follow these instructions.

Here's how to take a picture of your W-2 with the TurboTax mobile app:

1. Sign in to the app (if you're not already signed in) and navigate to the W-2 photo screen:
   1. Tap the upper-left corner to open the side navigation bar.
   2. Tap Wages & Income (under Federal).
   3. Select the option to work on your W-2.
   4. Keep swiping until you reach the OK, how would you like to enter your W-2? screen.
2. Tap Snap a photo of my W-2.
3. Follow the instructions to optimize the image. When fully optimized, TurboTax will automatically snap the picture for you.
   • Note: This picture won't be saved on your device, nor in your TurboTax account.
4. Continue following any instructions to upload your W-2.
