Since it's December 2020 I had to use the desktop version. How to I pre-populate with depreciation data from the 2018 return? Thanks!

Assuming you completed your 2018 tax return with the online version, you need to log into your account and download the .tax2018 file to your computer. Place it in the documents\turbotax directory. Then when you start a new 2019 tax return, it will find the 2018 tax file and give you the option to import.

You might need to pretend you need to amend 2018 to download the .tax2018 file from online.

By the way, you can only transfer from the prior year at the very beginning before you start 2019.  So if you already started 2019 you will have to start over in a new return if you want to transfer or you will need to enter any prior info manually as you go alone.
