Can I still e-file my 2022 federal and state taxes through the TurboTax Deluxe 2022 desktop application? The app says I cannot, but then says I can right after?

Basically, when I finish the application says I need to mail it in because it is 2024 and lots of time has passed.  Then right after that, it says that I should choose e-filing because its quicker.  I just want to be sure.

Using any of the TurboTax desktop CD/Download editions for tax year 2022, the tax returns can only be printed and mailed.  They cannot be e-filed using TurboTax.

2022 can only be filed by mail.

When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s.  Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS/state received the return.

Federal and state returns must be in separate envelopes and they are mailed to different addresses.  Read the mailing instructions that print with your tax return carefully so you mail them to the right addresses.
