Can I pay for MI taxes due with credit card? There are only 2 options. Direct debit from bank or Pay by check. I don't want either one.

Many companies are refusing to work with credit cards due to the high fees involved.  You can contact the state department of taxation and ask if there is a way you can pay by credit card.  Some credit cards have a service where they send the check for you.  If your credit card company will send the check for you, that might be an option.

You will have to contact the Minnesota Department of Revenue and inquire.

MN = Minnesota

In the software, you would choose to pay by check....just for the software selection...then efile.

1) Wait for your both your Fed & MI tax return to be accepted, not just transmitted (wait, because if Fed or MI is rejected, some corrective change required could also change the $$ you owe.)

2) Then go to the actual MI payment Website...they allow a Credit Card payment there...for a fee (2.35%):

........look for/scroll down for the proper CCd payment box to click-on at:

Make Michigan Individual Income Tax e-Payments (state.mi.us)
