I have been a TT user since 1995. And each year it gets more painful to download and install TT. Last year it was the game of getting thought the horrible website that was pushing this ON-Line tax BS, I had to use GOOGLE search to actually find TT's down load page.
Now these people think that everyone just bought the latest Mac or Window machine just to do their taxes. Why do you abandon older OSs that are still completely functional????
I'd love to just go back to paper forms and mail the things in. The abuse of the installed base, of slightly older computers is a friggen disgrace. Shame on Intuit. And don't give that BS about security problems with older OS. If you want to look at prior tax years you have to print to PDF because the older TT's version will not run on new computers. I get that. no problem there, but a 5 year old computer that is still 100 percent functional should be still useable with TT. What about all the BS about not being wasteful and not harming the environment. Getting a new Computer every tax season just to make it easier for TT programs lives is just BS.

Sorry, but your older computer does not meet the system requirements to use desktop download software for a 2024 return. If you cannot upgrade your OS, then you can use online TurboTax instead.

What options do I have since I cannot install TT 2024 on my Mac? I paid for the software now cannot use it. Can I get a refund or credit to do taxes online?
What becomes of my annual payment for the software?

I pay for turbo tax but can not down load on my mac Monterey
If your Mac does not meet the system requirements and cannot be upgraded, then seek a refund for the download and try using online TurboTax instead.
