Can I import the previous year's 1040 so I don't have to enter all the data by hand?

I have a pdf of my tax return and am new to Turbotax. Is there a way to upload the 1040 so I don't have to enter all the info?

You need the tax file   --  a pdf will not transfer very much over--just personal information.  And you have to do that transfer at the very beginning before you enter any 2021 data.
