Can I ignore the error message on the Capital Gains worksheet 561 asking me for the FEIN and name of the "pass through entity" I don't have an LLC.

An error message on the Capital Gains worksheet 561 is asking me for an FEIN and name of a "pass through entity" but we have no LLC. The only entity that handled any of the funds was the closing company where we received our check.  Can I ignore this pesky question?  If not who or where is the pass through entity to whom they are referring.

did you get a 1099 from the closing company?  If so it is there.#
