An error message on the Capital Gains worksheet 561 is asking me for an FEIN and name of a "pass through entity" but we have no LLC. The only entity that handled any of the funds was the closing company where we received our check. Can I ignore this pesky question? If not who or where is the pass through entity to whom they are referring.
