The 1095-A questions are now found in the deductions and credits section under medical.

If it was a shared policy, both parties will need to enter the 1095-A on their returns. This includes if one person has a policy that covers a child and the child is claimed by the other parent. Both parents would then include the 1095-A on their returns. Both parties would then allocate the premiums so that the total adds up to 100%. For most situations, you can allocate the percentages claimed based on any amount you both agree on. In some situations, you do need to allocate it based on the number of people on the policy so if there are 2 non tax family members on the policy and an exception does not apply, then you would both claim 50% in the allocation boxes. The state of Tennessee does not have an affect on the 1095-A
