If you qualify as Head of Household, when you enter your marital status (single or married filing separately) into MyInfo, and then enter your qualifying dependent, TurboTax will offer HOH as your filing status.
In order to qualify as Head of Household, a person has to file an individual tax return, be considered unmarried, not be claimed on someone else's tax return, and be able to claim a qualifying dependent on your return.
The IRS also requires Head of Household filers to be "considered unmarried" as of the last day of the tax year. To be considered unmarried means:
