Can I file a federal and state extension online and pay my estimated tax online?

or should I just file what I have and do a refile to correct it b Oct 15?

It depends.

Both options are acceptable so it just depends upon your preference.

Just make sure to pay any taxes due as the deadline for the payment of any taxes due was July 15th, 2020.
