To import from your Vanguard account, please follow the steps below:
[NOTE: Customers have found that when they click on the Vanguard icon in the Select financial institutions section, it didn't give a choice of brokerage or mutual funds. However when they typed in Vanguard instead of clicking on the icon, they did get a choice and were able to select brokerage. ]
Please: I already did all of what you said. The download of data failed. The fields for various data for each fund were not populated. All that appeared was a line at the bottom with totals. I tried three times with the same result. And, TurboTax is updated with the latest updates.
At this point, you will need to obtain hard copies of your tax statements and manually enter those.
I am having the same issue and I cannot figure out where to manually import the forms.
If the import does not work, I would suggest you enter the information manually. Here are the steps:
In TurboTax online,
The program will transfer your data over to the correct tax forms.
Use the same instructions for 1099int or 1099b

Did you ever get this resolved? I am having problems now with Vanguard now importing and its driving me crazy.
No answers from Intuit not from vanguard. I entered data by hand. Curiously, my spouse's data downloaded with no problem. Sorry but I have no explanation.
I suspect it has something to do with Vanguard requiring a code or pin they send before you can log in. Turbo tax should get on top of that and allow for that code or pin. They probably need to work with Vanguard to correct it.
