Can I delete my state return since it got rejected and start over?

How can I delete my state tax return and start over to fix the problem as to why it's getting rejected

Since you’ve already paid for your state tax return, you can’t delete it but you can start over. Select Start Over next to your state tax return on the Status of your state returns screen.
