Hello,
I am recently self-employed and the foundation I work for sent me a link to access intuit.
At the time I received the email to create an intuit account, I wasn't aware it had to match the account my husband and I use to file taxes on Turbo Tax, so I used my professional email. I never filed with that account, and it was created maybe 1 or 2 months ago only.
On TurboTax, we use my husband's email to file.
Can I change the email on intuit and put my husband's email to "merge" the account I just created?
Thank you
You'll need to sign in or create an account to connect with an expert.
If you set up a payroll access to intuit payroll then it doesn't have to be the same as the email you use for turbotax ... however you should NEVER use a work email for anything personal since you lose the work email once you no longer work there thus you lose access to all your personal information.
If this is the case log into the payroll system to see how you can change the email there.
Thank you,
I just changed the email in the intuit profile. I had not opened payroll or anything, my employer wanted me to open an account to fill out my W9, so that is all I had done.
That is good.
