Can I change my bank before it's second approval

If you've already e-filed your return, you cannot make any changes to it.  Wait to see if the return is accepted by the IRS.  If the IRS rejects the return for some reason, you can make changes before resubmitting.  However, if the IRS accepts the return, no changes can be made.

If you're expecting a refund and requested direct deposit, the IRS will mail a paper check for the refund to the address on the tax return.

However, if you scheduled a direct debit of an account with incorrect info, there are steps you must take to make sure your tax liability is properly paid.  See the info below.
