No---you are past the point of being able to clear and start over if you e-filed and the return was rejected. But you can make changes to the rejected return and then re-file it. What do you want to change?
I did the tax return myself. However, I realize that I want another person (an expert) to look at my submission.
We changed filing status. I don't have a signature ID number and it will not give the option to add my AGI from last year. I did not file with turbo tax last year but my wife did. She has the ID I don't. It keeps kitting rejected
First, you may want to check and be sure that you do not have an identity protection PIN from the IRS. You can figure that out by logging in or creating an account here.
Second, if you do not have a PIN and the return keeps rejecting you may want to print and mail your return. If it keeps rejecting that means that there is a possibility that your identity has been compromised and mailing the return in will solve that issue.
