Can I avoid paying turbotax deluxe fee?

TurboTax Free Edition is free. TurboTax Deluxe is not free.

You can try to downgrade to Free Edition. Go to the link below for instructions. But if there is something in your tax return that Free Edition does not handle you will have to stay with Deluxe.
