Can F1 students claim child tax credit for US born children?

@rprassetya You cannot claim dependents on a nonresident tax return (Form 1040NR), which is why Sprintax.com did not ask you about them.

Only U.S. nationals and residents of Canada and Mexico can claim a dependent on the same terms as U.S. citizens. Residents of South Korea and students or business apprentices from India may claim dependents on the more limited terms. No other person filing a Form 1040-NR can claim a qualifying dependent.

Certain tax benefits (such as the child tax credit, the credit for other dependents, and the additional child tax credit; and the premium tax credit for
dependents) are only available in full to residents of Canada and Mexico and, to a limited extent, to residents of India and South Korea. These tax benefits
cannot be claimed by other nonresident aliens.
