I entered my ALABAMA state driver's license number and expiration date and my spouse's as required. We both recently update our driver's license and have expiration dates ending in the year 2022. I entered that info and Turbo Tax will not go past that page, it hangs up and will not process the entry which are correct. Is it because the expiration date of 2022 is not being recognized as correct??

Yes, licenses can be valid up to 10 years after it is renewed.
It might be helpful to know that In most states, entering the drivers license or ID is recommended but not required.
Try not putting your License info in.
Delete the license info, then continue, red high lights will come up, then just hit continue again.
It is possible you will make it to the next screen.
If Alabama requires ID verification and the number can be entered in the field, but it will not allow for continuation, what is the procedure? Overriding by leaving blank will not work either, please advise.
I've never used anything else but Turbo Tax and this is the first time I've had a hangup.
check the format of the date entry. Turbotax asks you if the format is MM/DD/YYYY and some other possible formats. These must match exactly to the information you enter, or it will stop you from moving to the next page.
Thanks, but tried that several times.
