California employee classified as a federal independent contractor

What if I got a lot of 1099-NECs but also got some W2s? What should I be putting in for the California adjustments?

Are you a resident of California?  If so, you would not make any adjustments as all income would be taxed by your home state of CA.

If you are a resident of another state, then you would remove the income that was not earned in CA.

If you are filing a CA non-resident return, be sure you file that return first and then your home state.
