CA Schedule CA subtraction

On CA state Schedule CA for ordinary dividends, TurboTax shows:

Ordinary Dividends $xxx Federal amounts $xxx Subtractions $xxx

I cannot locate a list in TurboTax of the individual amounts included in Subtractions.

Earlier posts suggested looking for "% of dividends from U.S. Government Securities" which I had entered in each income source. The total of the "% of dividends" amounts I entered does not match what TurboTax put on my CA state return, which puzzled me, so I put it to a test:

I subtracted one of the "% of dividends..." amounts in the federal form, but it did not alter the amount on the CA state return!

Perhaps there is a glitch in the software? Or is there another source for the entry?
