CA_MCTR is rejected as "other income"

I am also getting rejected when I try to enter the CA_MCTR but not from a 1099-MISC.  I only received $350 so did not receive a 1099-MISC and the instructions for entering 'other income' result in an error, so I'm also waiting for a remedy.
