This will be corrected with one of the software updates before the end of the year. TurboTax normally updates their software on Thursdays.
You have to wait a little while. The program just came out because people want to start early. It is a very early version and won’t be fully ready until mid January. The IRS hasn’t even approved all the forms yet for Turbo Tax to use. There will be many updates. They usually update on Thursdays. If your program doesn’t automatically update you can try updating by going up to menu item Online - Check for Updates.
This is low hanging fruit - easy stuff for Intuit to change. This does not involve waiting on the Federal Govt. Just updating the new 2024 limits. I understand waiting on forms that have not been released by the federal govt. but this is totally different. These limits have been posted for quite some time and would be a simple to update in the software. Disappointing. It looks like Intuit didn't do anything. I could just open up TurboTax 2023 and run my prelim taxes. Hmmm.... now that I think of it maybe that's the approach I need to take since the depreciation isn't even available. I'm quite limited.
