If Box 2 on your Form W-2 is empty, it means that federal taxes were not withheld from your paychecks.
It may be that you inadvertently indicated that your were exempt from withholding on the Form W-4, Employee's Withholding Certificate Allowance, that you submitted to your employer shortly after you started your job, or perhaps you claimed a large number of allowances.
