Bought 2016 Premier without signing in, how can I register the purchase?

If you purchased the desktop software for 2016 then it will not show up in your online account with TurboTax. it is only on your own computer's hard drive, which is also where your 2016 tax files will be stored. Your 2016 tax files will not be stored online with TurboTax if you use desktop software.
