Both my federal and state tax returns have been rejected.

Tax Return Rejected by IRS for the following reason:

Description of error:
There is a potential issue with the calculation of your Taxable Inherited IRA.

What needs to be done:
We are reviewing updates to Taxable Inherited IRA calculations. We expect to have these updates done by March 5th, 2021.

Does this mean that there is a software problem that will be fixed by March 05th 2021 and i should try to efile again then?

That is exactly what it means.

Now i am getting this message when using the online version :

After applying the update, make any applicable changes if necessary, and re-transmit the return. Note: The calculation change may affect the taxpayer's refund.

You may need to clear your cache and cookies. Make sure your return is saved in your TurboTax account and then sign out. Clear the cache and delete the cookies on your computer, open a new browser, sign back into your account and try entering your information again. You ma
