You cannot stop or cancel a tax return you just e-filed. Now you will have to wait to see if it is rejected or accepted by the IRS. If it is rejected, then you can make changes and corrections on it and then re-submit it. But if the IRS accepts it, you have to WAIT until it has been fully processed and you have received your refund. Meanwhile do NOT make any changes to it. If you need to amend it, you have to be able to work from it exactly the way it was when sent the first time to the IRS. For now, sit tight and see what the IRS does with your return.
