Are legal fees associated with guardianship deductible? My father was victim of elder exploitation and I filed for and received emergency guardianship.

While there is no immediate financial benefit to me in becoming guardian, so I think the answer is No, not deductible. But this action preserved the estate, which I'll eventually partially inherit, so I think the answer could be "Yes, it is deductible."
