It was approved May 26 and the irs did not sound confident how I am going to be reviving my full refund.

The time it takes depends to process the Injured Spouse form depends on how Form 8379 is filed.

Per the IRS, if you file Form 8379:

On a joint return e-filed – 11 weeks
On a joint return filed by mail – 14 week
By itself after the joint return has been processed – 8 weeks
