There should not be any difference in the transfer process, provided you are transferring a .tax2017 file into the 2018 version of TurboTax Business.

Otherwise, if by "FY2017", you mean a fiscal year ending in 2017, then that is a problem.

If you are still having an issue, you should contact Customer support.
