Ammending 2020

I depend on my return. I need to amend my 2020 tax form with regard to interest paid to me. I need to do this now. Continuing to push the dates out has now become a financial stress. I need to do this now.

Usually it is recommended to wait until your original return has been processed before filing an amended return (Form 1040-X).

You can e-file your 2020 amended federal tax return, but most states require amendments to be printed and filed by mail. Please see FAQ How to amend a tax return for instructions.
