Amending prior year e file

Hello. I'm trying to amend my 2020 return which I e-filed through TurboTax via IRS free file, the problem I have, is when I sign in to my account and go to 2020s return and the amend my return option it says amending is not an option for irs free filers, ok so how do I pay to amend my return?

Amending prior year e file

You can download TurboTax 2020 Desktop edition and recreate your 2020 tax return. You will be able to amend your 2020 tax return.
