Amended tax returns (and even printing) but canceling

I revised my tax return (and even completed the print) and canceled it, but it changed to Ready to mail on the main screen and changed to pending, is it cancled? right?

Since you have paid for the return but did not efile it the return is sitting and waiting for you.  The system assumes that you want to mail it in since it is completed but not filed.  After you've paid for it it can't cease to exist or be deleted.  But it has not been sent to the IRS.
