Amazon verus Intuit Prices

Why are amazon 2018 Turbo Tax prices cheaper than the discounted price Intuit is offering? Any benefit Intuit offers that Amazon doesn't for the 2018 products?

Costco's price is also cheaper than Intuit's direct price. However, I am noticing that Costco only offers DVD installations, which many laptops don't have these days. That may rule out Costco as a viable place to purchase TurboTax for those who don't have DVD drives with their computers.
